MUTXIKO participated in the EUSKAL HERRIKO DANTZALDIA 2008 that took part in the town of Gallarta (Biscay). Along with MUTXIKO the following groups took part in the festival.

June 7th to 9th 

Mutxiko Elkartea received RANCHO FOLKLORICO de OUTEIRO from Portugal. After having visited Viana do Castelo and Outeiro in 2006, this time the portuguese group came to visit Hendaye. Viana do Castelo is twinned with Hendaye. During their stay they had a chance to visit Hendaye, Hondarribia and San Sebastian. The two groups offered a dance performance in Belzenia Pilota Court in Hendaye. Thanks to the Twinning Comitee and the Townhall from Hendaye for helping Mutxiko Elkartea in organising their stay.

Mutxiko Elkartea offered a dance performance in the Haicabia Holiday Resort in Hendaye.

July 19th , 2008

Mutxiko Elkartea was invited to dance in Ascain, a neighbouring town. The performance was offered in the Chourio pitota court, and was included among the summer activities the town organises for the summer.
