Carnival in Hendaye. Mutxiko participated in the parade.

29th March

Mutxiko participated in the Dantzari Festa in Hernani, a town in Gipuzkoa. Mutxiko participated together with other groups from all the Basque Country: Ttarla (Hernani), Eraiki (Irun), Ereintza (Errenteria). Eskola (Donostia), Ibarla Meaka (Irun), Kemen (Irun), Kresala (Donostia), Trebeska (Donostia), Adurtza (Gasteiz), Laguntasuna (Barakaldo), Amaiur (Iruñea), Akelarre (Hendaia) and Mutxiko (Hendaia).

16-19 April

10th anniversary of the twinning between Hendaye-Peebles   et Hendaye-Viana do Castelo

Mutxiko participated in the events of the anniversary, together with the group Akelarre-Gurea

On the 16th April, Mutxiko danced the Agurra to welcome the Group coming from Peebles
On the 19th April, a performance was offered to the Scottish and Portuguese groups in the Pilota Court D.Ugarte in Hendaye

13th June

Sagarno Eguna, Hendaye

Hendaia celebrated the Sagarno Eguna ( day of the cider). Mutxiko had a stand where cider and pintxos where offered. The group danced " Sagardantza".

Performance in Sokoburu

Among the activities organised by the townhall for the summer, Mutxiko performed a complete dance show in Sokoburu, Hendaye.

Dance perfromance in Roumagne

During the traditional festival organised by  Trad Troubadours in Lot et Garonne,  Mutxiko offered this performance. You can see some extract in YouTube.

Mutxiko offered a complete dance performance in Azkaine, among the activities the town organises for the summer. The performance was offered at Chourio pilota court.

11th Octobre 

Prentsaketa

The ”prentsaketa” or pressing of the apple is held every year, and they show how to press the apple for the making of cider, a very typical Basque drink. Mutxiko danced ” sagar-dantza” or dance of the apple, followed by Mutxikoak, and other popular dances.
