ZIBURUKO IHAUTERIA – CIBOURE Carnival

The group paraded in the streets of the town. Ciboure is a neighbouring town of Hendaye. They celebrated "The day of the Bear" ( Hartzaren eguna).

12th February 

Participation at the Hendaye Carnival

10th June

Participation in the French-Indian party organised by « Perspectives Asiennes » ( Asian Prespectives) in  ANGLET, a village near Hendaye.

11th June

SAGARNO EGUNA – Day of the Cider - Hendaye

Danced Mutxikoak, and held a stand offering excellent snacks.  

22nd July

Participation in the summer activity programme of the town of Hendaye. The group offered a dance performance in SOKOBURU.

23rd July

« Fête de La Mer » - Festival of the Sea. The group danced Mutxikoak at "Port de la Floride" in Hendaye.

13th August 

Performance of the show « AUNITZ URTEZ » at the  Belcenia pelota court in Hendaye, within the celebration of « HIRI BESTA ». These were the groups taking part in the show: 

• Kemen Dance Group  – Irun
• Meakako Adixkideak Dance Group– Hondarribia
• Mutxiko Elkartea - Hendaye
• Chorale Abesbatza
• Coro Nabartenea (chorale) – Irun

14th August 

Participation in the parade of the EUSKAL JAIA (Basque Festival)  in Hendaye.  

3rd September

Forum des Associations.The group was present in the annual meeting of the cultural associations of the town of Hendaye.

From 6th to 11th September

Participation for the 2nd time in the "Peebles Arts Festival". Peebles (Scotland) is twin city with Hendaye. MUTXIKO was invited for the 2nd time to take part in the Arts Festival celebrated in this Scottish town.

The group offered a first performance at the Eastgate Theater, and a second performance at the Quadrangle. The group visited the Peebles Nursing Home where they offered a small performance. They had a chance to visit Edimbourgh and the Scottish Parliament.

8th October

The French Rowing Championships were held in Hendaye and organised by the local rowing club ENDAIKA. MUTXIKO was invited to entertain the event before the price presentation.

5th November

Performance « Amodiaren Berri » at the cultural center  AMAIA in the town of IRUN, with the participation of the following groups: 

• Meakako Adixkideak dancing group– Hondarribia
• Mutxiko Elkartea- Hendaye
• Coro Nabartenea (chorale)– Irun

BESIDES....

All year long MUTXIKO Elkartea offers performances at weddings, celebrations, special events etc.

AND ....last but not least

The fourth Sunday of every month, the group meets in the local pilota court Gaztelu-zahar to dance MUTXIKOAK in an open performance that can be joined by anyone who wants to participate.
