Mutxiko participated in the Dantzari Festa in Hernani, a town in Gipuzkoa. Mutxiko participated together with other groups from all the Basque Country: Ttarla (Hernani), Goizaldi (Donostia), Eskola (Donostia), Kemen (Irun), Trebeska (Donostia), Arkaitz (Añorga), Egoipar Meaka (Irun), Adurtza (Gasteiz), Arrizkugarri (Sestao), Mikelaitz (Atarrabia), Garaztarrak (Donibane Garazi), Begiraleak ( Donibane Loitzune), Muskildi (Zuberoa) and Mutxiko (Hendaia).

Performance in Sokoburu
Among the activities organised by the townhall for the summer, Mutxiko performed a complete dance show in Sokoburu, Hendaye.

JAIALDI 2010 (BOISE)
MUTXIKO ELKARTEA was the International Dancing Group invited to the International Basque Cultural Festival 2010 held in Boise, Idaho, USA. This important event known as JAIALDI is celebrated every 5 years thanks to the support and dedication of the Basque community in Boise. People from all over the United States and the world attend this festival, over 30,000 people attended Jaialdi 2010, a five day festival. The Jaialdi, features spectacular cultural dances and musical exhibitions as well as sporting competitions.
MUTXIKO offered a performance in FESTARA, the big show of dance and music organised during Jaialdi. Other groups such us Oinkari dancers, Txorimaloak and Trey McIntyre Project completed the FESTARA programme.
MUTXIKO offered two performances in Jaialdi´s Fairgrounds together with more than a dozen music and dance groups from the United States.
Thank you JAIALDI for inviting MUTXIKO to this fantastic event, it was an amazing experience for us! Gora Jaialdi, Gora Oinkari eta Gora Boiseko Euzkaldunak !

26th September
This is a Festival that takes place in the in seaside road. The road going from Handaye to St. Jean de Luz is closed and a big pic-nic is organised. Mutxiko animated the event.
9th October
Prentsaketa
The ”prentsaketa” or pressing of the apple is held every year in Hendaye, and they show how to press the apple for the making of cider, a very typical Basque drink. Mutxiko danced ” sagar-dantza” or dance of the apple, followed by Mutxikoak, and other popular dances.
