Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Group
We invited all friends that had been part of the group along these years, and all friends who have joined us for the Mutxikoak on Sundays. We celebrated a MUTXIKO GAUA on Saturday ( Mutxiko night) and a multitudinary MEGA MUTXIKOAK on Sunday. Thanks to everybody who joined us!!!

2nd July
Performance in Sokoburu

Among the activities organised by the townhall for the summer, Mutxiko performed a complete dance show in Sokoburu, Hendaye.

 

16th July and 1st September
Performance is Ascain

Mutxiko offered a complete dance performance in the Chourio Pilota court in Ascain, as part of the summer activities programme of the village.

 

28th to 31st July
Prague Folklore Days

Mutxiko Elkartea participated in the Prague Folklore Days, the biggest Folklore Festival in Central Europe.  Mutxiko offered two open air performances in the city centre of Prague and participated in the parade of all ensembles through the city centre of Prague.

Euskal Jaiak (Basque Festival) in Hendaye

MUTXIKO participated in the parade of Euskal Jaia in Hendaye. In the morning, some dancers from Mutxiko Elkartea danced Ezpata Dantza in the mass

Participation in the “Pintza Folk” Festival of Domaikia, in the Basque Province of Alava

 

25th September
Fête de la Corniche

The coastal road is closed to traffic over a distance of 7 km from Urrugne to Hendaye. The public can for one day embrace this magnificent natural area and cycle or walk along the entire coastal road. On the way there are stands and entertainment relating to the environment, ecology or the history of the area.
